Meaghan Sheppard
Founder & Director | Beyond the Stage Experiences
With more than 25 years of experience in the dance industry, Meaghan brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and industry insight to Beyond the Stage Experiences.
A lifelong dance and musical theatre enthusiast, a proud dance mom of two, and a certified travel agent, Meaghan understands the dance world from multiple perspectives — as an educator, adjudicator, parent, and travel professional.
Her passion for creating meaningful opportunities for young performers inspired the creation of Beyond the Stage Experiences, bringing together her love of dance, theatre, travel, and connecting people.
Having spent decades supporting dancers in their training and performance journeys, Meaghan recognizes the incredible impact that experiences outside the traditional studio environment can have on a young performer.
She believes that stepping into a new city, learning from industry professionals, performing on a remarkable stage, and connecting with dancers from different communities can spark confidence, independence, and inspiration that extend far beyond dance.
With an eye for detail and a commitment to creating exceptional experiences, Meaghan oversees the planning and coordination of each Beyond the Stage adventure, ensuring dancers and their families feel supported from registration to their final farewell.
