The New York City Experience is perfect for dancers and performers ages 8 and up who are passionate about musical theatre, have a solid foundation in dance, and are ready to deepen their craft. This immersive experience includes tickets to the Rockettes’ Christmas Spectacular, an exclusive workshop with the Rockettes, a chance to meet one of these world-class performers, and all things Broadway. It’s an incredible opportunity to learn from industry professionals, gain inspiration from the best, and take your skills to the next level—all while experiencing the holiday magic in NYC. 

The New York City Summer Training Experience is perfect for dancers who are passionate about advancing their training and refining their technique in a professional environment. This experience is open to dancers aged 8 and up who are eager to challenge themselves and grow as artists.  Participants will take even more classes in a variety of at both Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center — two of New York City’s most prestigious studios. This immersive training opportunity is ideal for dedicated dancers looking to learn from top industry professionals and take their skills to the next level.

The Cruise Experience  is a unique performance opportunity for dancers aged 8 and up who want to expand their skills beyond the studio and experience performing abroad—on a world-class cruise ship. Dancers will rehearse and perform in a professional onboard theater while gaining insight into life as a cruise performer, all while enjoying an unforgettable family vacation. Please note: Cruise bookings are handled separately through Wind, Waves and Wands, a TICO-registered travel agency and not included in The Cruise Experience pricing.

Scholarships can be won at one of our esteemed partner competitions/conventions (see below). By participating in these competitions/conventions, you have the chance to showcase your skills and earn a scholarship through your outstanding performance.

Scholarships cannot be combined for use on the same experience. However, any additional scholarships may be applied to a future event. All of our scholarships can be used for the event of your choice.

Please complete the following registration form:  2026-2027 Experience Registration Form and upload a copy of your scholarship during registration. Be sure to include the competition or convention where it was awarded. The scholarship amount will be deducted from your invoice.

Please note: Any unused scholarships awarded in the 2025 season may be used towards future events including The Cruise Experience, The New York City Summer Training Experience, and The New York City Experience.

Please complete the following video audition request form:  https://form.jotform.com/260543614211244 and upload a short video of your dancer.  The video audition helps us ensure this incredible experience is the perfect fit. Once we’ve reviewed your submission, we’ll send your official acceptance and invite you to complete your registration and secure your spot.

A $250 non-refundable deposit per person is required to complete your registration and hold your spot. Once your registration form has been submitted please e-transfer info@beyondthestageexperiences.ca and include your dancer's name and the experience you are registering for in the message portion of the e-transfer. Please note:  For The Cruise Experience the only required deposit is for the dancer. Additional guests are not required to pay a deposit to Beyond the Stage Experiences.

Deposits are non-transferable; they cannot be applied to a different trip in future.

If a guest cancels after making additional payments beyond the non-refundable deposit, a partial refund may be considered, depending on the expenses Beyond the Stage Experiences has already paid. This will be assessed individually, taking into account what can and cannot be refunded based on the expenses already incurred.

With limited spots available for our experiences, we encourage you to secure your place upon receipt of your scholarship (see deposit/cancellation policy).  

If the event reaches full capacity or you're unable to attend rest assured your scholarship will remain valid for future experiences.  

Payment schedules vary per experience and will be outlined on your invoice. If you wish to make additional payments or installments outside of the suggested timeline, you are welcome to do so. 

No. Hotel accommodations are not included in the experience pricing. This is intentional, as it gives dancers and families greater flexibility to choose what works best for them. Participants are free to book accommodations that fit their budget, use travel or credit card points, stay with friends or family, or extend their trip before or after the experience.

For those who prefer the convenience of staying with the group, a special group rate is available at the Marriott Marquis Times Square, located just steps away from many of New York City’s top attractions, theatres, and experiences.

Hotel accommodations are booked separately and directly through Wind, Waves and Wands Vacations, a TICO-registered travel agency. The group rate is available for a three-night stay on the specified dates.

A secure booking link will be provided closer to the experience to reserve your room at the discounted group rate. Limited rooms are available, so early booking is encouraged.

This approach allows families to enjoy greater choice and control over their travel plans, while still offering the option of a centrally located group hotel for those who wish to stay together.
