Join us for the New York City Experience

The New York City Experience is perfect for dancers and performers with a passion for musical theatre. If you have a solid foundation in dance and are looking to deepen your craft, this is the experience for you. This experience is open to participants aged 9 and up who have either been awarded a scholarship at one of our partners events (see below) or have submitted a video audition online. This experience is ideal for those looking to learn from the pros and take their skills to the next level. 

*All dancers 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult. 

The New York City Experience will take place November 13-16, 2025. There are options to extend your stay should you wish to. *Subject to hotel availability

Fill out the 'Register for a Video Audition' form below by June 1st, 2025.  Please note there is limited space available, so we recommend getting your video audition request in as soon as possible.

*Dancers who received a scholarship do not need to submit a video audition. 

Scholarships can be won at one of our esteemed partner competitions (see below). By participating in these competitions, you have the chance to showcase your skills and earn a scholarship through your outstanding performance.

In addition to our partner competitions, scholarships will also be awarded based on video auditions. Our dedicated team will review your submission carefully and selected recipients will be notified by email.

Scholarships cannot be combined for use on the same experience. However, any additional scholarships may be applied to a future event. 

Please email a copy of your scholarship to info@beyondthestageexperiences.ca.  Include the dancers first and last name, and the competition they won the scholarship at. 

A non-refundable $250 deposit per person is required to secure your place. Please e-transfer info@beyondthestageexperiences.ca and include the dancers first and last name in the e-transfer message.  Once the deposit has been received you will be sent registration forms to complete via email.

With limited spots available for the New York City Experience, we encourage you to secure your place upon receipt of your scholarship (see deposit/cancellation policy).  

If the event reaches full capacity or you're unable to attend rest assured your scholarship will remain valid for future experiences.

A non-refundable deposit of $250 per person is required to hold your spot. Deposits are due by June 15th, 2025, and are payable by e-transfer to info@beyondthestageexperiences.ca.  Please include dancer's first and last name in the e-transfer message. 

Deposits are also non-transferable; they cannot be applied to a different trip in future.

If a guest cancels after making additional payments beyond the non-refundable deposit, a partial refund may be considered, depending on the expenses Beyond the Stage Experiences has already paid. This will be assessed individually, taking into account what can and cannot be refunded based on the expenses already incurred.

Final balances are due September 1st, 2025. 

Absolutely! Simply indicate your preferred check-in and check-out dates on your registration form, and we’ll take care of the rest! *Subject to hotel availability 

Yes! Dancers must pay the 'Dancer Package' rate but if two dancers and their accompanying adults would like to share a room both adults will receive the 3rd and 4th guest discount. 

Flights and shuttles are not included and here's why. Dancers will be travelling from all over Canada, this allows families the flexibility to select the airport, airline or travel method that best fits your schedule, preferences and budget. 

*Please ensure every traveler has a valid Passport and travel insurance. 

Packages are offered in full, with no modifications or exclusions allowed. We organize group bookings for each event, and the same group members must participate throughout the entire week. There are different packages and pricing for dancers and non-dancers (see above). Non-dancers do not participate in the dance workshops but participate in the rest of the activities.
